Now that Medea's group had found the Breonna and Nathrim duo, the color in the elder sister's face returned once Yllathyra was by her side again. But while the young shadow was rejuvenated and ready to fight again, Breonna remained slumped against a wall beside the ill woman. "Go help the others." The elder breathed, motioning towards the group still fighting. And despite her sister's eagerness to fight, she was hesitant before agreeing with her sister.

Yllathyra, seeing as though she could melt into the ground, did so and attempted to sneak up from behind Winterbone. Seeing as though she also had no weapons, Yllatyra made herself useful as a distraction. She kicked the undead thing as hard as a 12 year old could then waved her arms up in the air, hoping to draw his attention away from the others.

Fang did a check on the battle from his sub-conscience state. Only using a fraction of his spiritual chi, he focused on using Lucio's old trick that stopped him from being able to get away with trouble. The undead rampaged across the town, and both the archer and pirate were being pushed back. Another warrior was in the battle, but he was metallic almost. It didn't matter, but Fang knew that he had only a little bit of time left, then he would be fully healed and ready to march back to the battlefield. However he questioned the Wolfen from before.

"Why did Morguse jump and attack right after the amulet glowed?" thought Fang as a shuffle of leaves from the wind rustled in the underbrush where he was resting. "Could it be a telecommunical device, or is it a mind controller that's master pushed aggression into Morguse. His men reacted slower, and only attacked after Morguse snapped, so maybe that is the cause."

Fang was trying to find an answer, but had to focus on one major thing, more than likely, Morguse will try and kill him during the battle.
"Honour he spoke of, in an honourless world." Fang thought. "As long as the agreement stands, I'll fight him, beat him with both the archer and pirate, and take the amulet to study. It's evil could either be cleansed, or sold for a fair price.

Jack quickly took the lead of the small group of soldiers given him by Yun. He was having in mind to use the same strategies that he used back in the day against the Kraken, but he wasn't 100% sure that it would have worked against a dragon.

"Alright men, we need to split up in 3 groups. Who are the two higher ranked here?" Jack asked, assuming a more imponent stance, trying to not swing his arms left and right. Slowly, two soldiers raised their hands. Jack looked to them and decided the approach plan.

"Ok, you. You go back to the Inn. Go downstairs and take as much rum as you can carry. You, go with him and get on those walls. When i'm back I wanna see those ballistas ready to shoot. You come with me at the docks, we need to grab some material."

(To homer, Yun and Errorblender. Your remaining forces are as follows: two archers and three footmen under Error and three archers under Yun. Homer you have four footmen. Remember, the squad by the gate was only twelve people.)

The Drakoling wight moved sinuously, it dashed forward and ducked at the same, so that Yun's arrow whizzed over its head and struck stone. Its mace met Ashan's sword in a shower of sparks. Its free claw shot forward and a stream of purple energy dissolved one of Yun's archers. A human zombie was felled by a footman but a Drakoling zombie snapped the man's head off.

The soldiers with Jack nodded and three sped off, one to the Inn to "liberate" the rum and the other two to bring the ballista to fire at the dragon. The great beast itself was still crouched at the top of the Citadel, arrows from stragglers peppering it. It opened its mouth and spoke:

"IS THIS THE BEST BAARDOS CAN THROW? I AM VAALTHUN THE BOLT OF THE AGES! I AM THE SPARK THAT DESTROYS! I AM THE STORM, DARGA DU KSHAR!*"
[* In the tongue of Nurbagra, Draconic, this means: Dragon of Lightning]

(To Kyra and Necrothing)

Yllathyra was suddenly yanked back by the grinning shadowcat. Its maw opened revealing silver teeth like daggers. It flung the shadow-girl upward and prepared to swat it with its claws. Winterbone laughed and stalked towards Breoonna, white sword blazing with cold fire. The cord of shadow still connected the shado9w cat with the black blade. Medea kicked Dewregar in the shins, "Move, oaf!" she exclaimed and one of her lightning orbs, glass filled with the power of the storms, flew from her finger tips. Winterbone dashed forward and the white sword flashed upward and the orb was cut in half. And it exploded. The world went white.

(To Blazerawl)

The sizzling of the air was the only warning Fang had before Morguse's sword shaved off the shrub that hid Fang. The glowing amulet was in his hand. Behind him was a Drakoling zombie. "Did you really think that trick with the wind would fool me?" he snarled and held the amulet aloft. "Get him!" he yelled and the Drakolings's mouth opened and a cone of fire spewed out.

Ashan sidestepped, allowing the mace to freely fall to the ground. He twisted as he stepped out and back in, arcing his shield and attempting to slam the wight's head.

[I assume we have control over our men?]

The three footmen assumed their stances, guarding the archers as they fired volley after volley of arrows against the tide of undead. The footmen kept their shields raised and sliced away when they could at approaching undead, but kept their distance from each other as to give each of themselves space for retreat and evasion.

The clockwork soldier felt the roar and indescribable language of the dragon. He didn't bother with it for now because now, he had undead to kill.

Despite Breonna's exhaustion, she cried out her sister's name as the shadow girl was struck in the chest by the claws. She had, had little time to melt back into the ground and three claw marks skinned against her darkness. The pain was so intense for the little one, that she fell onto the ground, clutching the wound as a black thick goop seemed to ooze from her marks.

Before Breonna could aid her sister, she felt an immense pressure strike her body. The world went white, then as she shut her eyes, faded to black...

Jack finally reached the docks, followed by the other soldier. He quickly dragged his follower all the way to the warehouses. There were three warehouses lined up along the pier, and Jack went straight into the second one. As soon as he got in, he knew what to look for. The soldier in his company remained at the door, observing as this rather strange man looked into most of the crates of thewarehouse. But suddenly Jack stopped his search, and looked at the soldier.

"Can you get us into the Royal Navy's warehouse?" he asked, as he started coming towards him with his funky way of walking.

"Y-Yeah, I believe so. Why do you wanna get into the Royal Navy's warehouse?" the soldier asked, looking awkwardly to Jack. Jack, although, played it cool.

"Well, besides the simple fact that the Royal Navy is the strongest naval force on these seas, It also has a big supply of ingredients that are used to make firepowder." At that point the soldier was extremely confused. He looked to Jack blankly, while trying to imagine what firepowder is.

"May I ask sir, what is this...'firepowder' that you are talking about?" Jack smiled, and started walking towards the exit of the warehouse.

"You clearly haven't been to Singapore." he stated with a smile on his face.

(sorry on vacation, little harder to respond this week Very Happy)
Fang was still disoriented as the Dragon like being fell into his vision of focus. But it was too late. As soon as he awoke, the drakoling blasted him with a fire blast. Fang took most of the force with his right arm, singed with a few burn marks, quickly healing already. But using his knowledge of anatomy on the lizard, he though of the movements used to blast the fire.

"A breath of fire mumbled Fang as he compared the drakoling's anatomy to a human. From the lower part of the stomach, the lizard would charge up a breath, then pour magical energy into it seemed. If Fang could block off the breathing rate from the lungs, or cut off connection to the throat entirely, he could defeat the drakoling.

Dodging another one of Morguse's strikes, he noticed the amulet flickering every time a command was issued to a drakoling. Fang had to not stop the drakoling, but subdue it so he could catch the amulet. Without that, Morguse would lose the possible immortality mentioned, and control over the deamon lizards.

Fang lept behind a tree as another fireblast shot off, and lunged out, after the drakoling's lung area. With a quick jab at three points, he quickly shot a dragon palm strike into it's throat.

"This should take care of the drako." thought Fang, fixing his attention to the Wolfen leader.

With the fierce beast moving and slamming, dissolving and dodging, Yun is having a hard time keeping a hit on the monster. With one man down and only 2 to go, he regrouped with the men.

"You two, handle the two other beasts and stay as far away from them. No close combat. I'll take this guy from getting you. GO!"

He quickly jumped up into the air and fired three regular arrows towards the beast at a quick speed.

(To Errorblender and Yun)
The wight ducked low, the sword swinging over its lizard-like head then it thrust its mace upward, wanting to catch the clockwork soldier in the chin with its heavy weapon. Then it roared in pain as one of Yun's arrow buried itself in its back.

A human zombie fell as arrows pierced its head, the glowing eyes fading. That left three human zombies left and two Drakoling zombies. One of Ashan's men was torn apart as a Drakoling sliced him in half with its claws. The undead monstrosity was subdued by arrows from Yun's men, though the remaining three zombies still closed in on the humans.

Suddenly, the dragon roared and took wing, flying hurriedly to the ports.

(To homer)

The soldier looked at Jack, "We don't often use firepowder as weapons in the Dragonships, sir." he beckoned them inside, eyeing the ragtag group with suspicion. "We use these," he said, pointing to a large round crystal. Inside the crystal, the tongues of a roaring fire and swirling inferno of flames radiated with red and orange light. "Imprisoned fire spirits, sir. We use the firepowder to feed them and to bolster their power." Behind the crystal was the skeleton of an unfinished Dragonship, the masts still waiting to be hoisted. Right at the front of its bow was the huge carved dragon that also served as the weapon of the ship. At that moment, there was a monstrous noise and the roof of the warehouse was ripped open and the dragon's fearsome head glared at the men. It opened its mouth to destroy the men when a ballista, twelve feet long, buried itself in the beasts shoulder. It roared and the beam of lightning it was summoning arced up at the sky.

(To Kyra)

Lord Winterbone was blasted back, his left arm flying through the air, the black sword twirling and struck the ground. Immediately the cat-beast vanished. Medea was thrown back and landed on the skeletons she had destroyed. The undead lord twitched, dazed and stunned by the explosion. The white sword lay gleaming in his right arm.

With the three major zombies left over, he knows that his two men won't be able to take down the Drakoling zombies alone. He whistles and regroups with his men.

"I know you guys can't take these guys alone. Fall back and wait for my orders. Fall back!"

As he falls back, he shoots two fire element arrows at 2 trees, left and right, and one lightning arrow in the middle of the path towards the zombies. As the three elements were in position, he tosses a fire orb to the lightning arrow and as it explodes with a pang, a wall a fire has been formed between the 3 humans and the three zombies, giving Yun and his men time to fall back and prepare for a volley.

Yllathyra quickly recovered from being blown back and watched as one of the Lord's swords, as well as his arm disturbingly enough, fell to the floor. She clutched the wound on her chest and looked back at her unconscious sister for only a moment before making a dash for the black sword, despite not knowing if her small body could even manage to lift the thing, at least it would be out of Winterbone's hands.

Arriving at the arm and blade, she attempted to pry the bony fingers from the weapon and clasped the handle of the sword.

The clockword soldier was overturned by the attack of the Wight, fortune had it that those parts were now steel. If it hadn't it could have been bloody. Ashan readied his shield in case the Wight got any closer for another attack, but luck struck once again. An arrow flew and pierced the Wight, allowing the ClockWork soldier the few seconds to stand and compose himself.

Ashan retreated himself, allowing some breathing space between himself and the injured wight. He slammed the side of his blade onto his shield, beckoning the wight to attack once again.

"Come on! You don't fear death and so do I!" He called out.

The soldiers kept themselves composed. Their training taking over against instinct. Each swipe of their blade made to leave fatal blows and each flight of their arrow meant to kill. They attacked in unison, like a well oiled machine, they felt no remorse at the moment for their fallen. For now, they needed to survive to protect those they swore to do so.

(To Blazerawl, sorry for the late post)

The Drakoling, being undead, did not notice its chest was punctured, as Fang's fist had sunken into the rotting flesh. It heaved its ruined lungs and tied to expel elemental flame and exploded. Burning liquid sloshed everywhere, Morguse screamed and howled in pain as his front was coated with fire. The amulet dropped to the ground as he rolled around in the dirt trying to quench the flames.

(To Yun an Error)

The zombie Drakoling remaining opened its maw and a beam of frost quenched the fire from Yun's arrows. The undead stumbled forward and tried to surround Ashan and force him to close in on the wight but one of Ashan's soldiers decapitated a human zombie before reforming with his allies. The wight roared and a wave of necrotic energy, a pulse of violet light and oily smoke, emanated from it. Archers, soldiers were thrown back, wounded and weakened, The wight dashed forward with it though and swung its mace sideways, hoping to catch Ashan's temples.

(To Kyra)

The hand yielded under Yllathyra's fingers and the night-black sword fell into her grasp. At once, a bitter cold seemed to strengthen both the siblings as the sword spoke in both their minds. I am Nicnevin, Blade of Shadows and Lies, long have I served Winterbone but now I am yours, it said in a voice like a deadly jungle-cat stalking prey. Unleash the fury of the dark though me, before Winterbone uses Silarialael, my twin! it spoke in a rush, for Winterbone was beginning to move. The grinning cat like shadow-beast appeared and, instead of linking with the sword, linked with Breonna.

[You now have a new ability, Summon Shadow-Cat. It has the same limitations as Yllathyra but it can travel for 50 feet away from Breonna before weakening]
